Fun times

All three of us went for a really nice walk last week. We found a river and a small lake to walk around and next to. Aeris enjoyed a long nap in her stroller and we enjoyed the pretty scienery, the exercise and good conversation. Here are some pictures from our walk.

Yes, Aeris is sleeping in there. 

Friday night we went to the Rocky Mountain Raceways for the first time. Aeris Naomi's first time watching drag racing. We had fun with our friends even though it was a very cold night! That's why Aeris is all wrapped up in her winter suit and a blanket. She was probably the warmest out of all of us. It was a very nice track, although it was also a "spinn-world"..... One of our friends tried his best to beat his record, but his tires spun too bad.. Met some new people and some we've met before. We really enjoyed it and would love to go back soon :)

Safe Kids Fair

Yesterday, Saturday, we attended a Safe Kids Fair. We had a Nikken booth set up where we demonstrated our water technology and different magnet technologies as well. We were located right next to "scales and reptiles". They had a few snakes, an alligator, a tortoise, a tarrantula, scorpion and some other reptiles as well..! The biggest snake they had was about 10-12 feet long, or 3-4 meeters! It was big, huge and yellow. Aeris got to say hi to it too :) Sh got to sit on one of the guys lap and take pictures with it :) That was fun!

 Now, these animals are trained to be around children. They are actually used for birthday parties and other children parties. They know what they are doing!

Michael made us Apple Dumplings this week! They are delicious :)

Look what I did! It's finished!! This dresser started of with brown peeling paint. I removed the paint, sanded it A LOT!, then I painted it beautiful white :) It's got little purple flowers on the bottom as well.

April Updates

We got some new stuff last week! Here it is:

 

 

New mattress topper, pillow and comforter. All with magnet & far-infra-red technology.

I've been bad at this huh?

I'm sorry it's been forever since I've been in here!! I guess life has been busy with a newborn in the house, at least I can blame that right :P
A few updates, Aeris is now 10 weeks old, she is 22" long and weighs 9lbs 12oz (or, she did at 9 weeks, who knows anymore!). She still fits in her newborn clothes though! Crazy enough :) She is getting sooo big in my eyes, but is still very little. Everyone says she is anyway.. I think time has passed by so fast! But I do make sure I enjoy every second of it :) She is the best baby ever (of course!). She wakes up every morning with the biggest smiles, it really is the best way to start your morning :)
Other than taking care of Aeris I have been looking for real work opportunities that I could do while staying home with my baby, or that I could bring her with me to. I ended up getting a (very) part time job at a movie theatre (free movies!!) where they let me bring Aeris with me :) But it is definitely not much work, and the pay isn't the best. (Is nice to get out of the house every now and then though!)
Needless to say I've kept up the search for something better! And, tam-ta-dam-ta-da, I think I found something!! :P
Honestly, it's been up under my nose for about 8 years now, you see, my dad has been working with this company for that long! But now I am too! Or we are, really, and Aeris is a great helper... So, anyways, the company is called Nikken. It was started in Japan in 1975 and grew big in a short time! And it's still going strong, it has plenty of great products, you've heard of magnets before right? Well, they work a lot with magnetic health, as well as infra red technology, air purifiers, water purifiers and much more. They are the only total wellness company, they're goal is to have everyones whole home and whole body be healthy! They have 5 pillars of health; Healthy Body, Mind, Family, Society and Finances.
So we are going to get on the train and enjoy the adventure! We already know we personally love the products, and now we're gonna be sharing it with lots more people! That way we can help out other families too. :)
